Use your Talents to join the Conversation Online

Hello fellow inhabitants of the planet earth. I just ate a banana and it tasted rather bananan-y... go figure.

That was a total random thought that doesn't make any sense, and you are probably wondering why you are reading this blog post.

The answer to that my friends is simple. You HAVE to read this because it is an assignment and the teacher is holding your good grade hostage until you do. Haha!!!!

I love it when people are forced to read the senseless things I write(:
Now onto the actual topic--  Talents.

Talents.

Talents...

Talents???? What talents?

First of all what are my talents? Well I don't mean to brag, but I think that I am pretty good at eating BBQ potato chips and watching movies. Yes I know, those are unbelievable talents, but someone has to do them.

Some other of my more productive talents might include smiling, talking during class, and in some circumstances writing.

What are your talents????? Are they as impressive as mine? Maybe they are and maybe they are not. For your sake, hopefully they are more impressive.

The next question I would like to bring up is how can we as people use our talents to share the gospel?. There are many answers to this, but I think some simple examples are smiling, and just saying hello.'

I consider these things talents because not everyone will smile at people they see, and likewise they will not say hello. When we share these small talents with others it lets them know that they matter and don't we all deserve to feel like we matter?

Another way we can use our talents is by following the advice given in a Talk by Elder Ballard and share the gospel online. We can do this in simple ways like blogging, liking something gospely on Facebook, and showing a mutual respect for people online.

What really matters is that we take those talents that we have and share them.

So go and do...

TTFN(:

  1. Writing is definately one of your talents! That was inspiring and very creative. I agree, that our talents can be used to promote the gospel.

  2. I like that picture of the baby :) hahaha. Firstly, as we live righteously and strive to follow Christ we can feel true joy. Secondly, when we are living righteously our countenance should reflect the Spirit we have with us. Thus, when we smile we can share the gospel. Have a great day! Thank-you for your fun personality :)
