My Perfect Day
Why am I such a procrastinator???? As usual I have put off my homework till the last minute and now I am dealing with the stress of not getting it all in on-time. Luckily my teacher has extended mercy to me and I can turn in all of my late work for the term and receive full credit...that is if I turn it in by Thrusday. We' ll see how it plays out...
Hmmmm…what would my perfect day be???
I know I have asked a lot of questions, but can I ask another (haha even if you don't want me to I am going to do it anyways)...Does such a thing even exist? Well let me tell ya, if a perfect day did exist this is how mine would play out--
This day would start off with me sleeping in, and not waking up until my eyes desired to finally open. I would then remain in bed between the warm sheets until the hallucinogenic aromas of homemade crapes willfully carried me into the kitchen.
As I self-indulged in a hardily filled pastry complete with oodles of whipped cream and freshly picked strawberries, a professional hair dresser would be styling my hair into whimsical beach wave curls.
After an ideal breakfast, Stacy London would help me slip into an outfit that would be fit for a modest supermodel.
A privet jet would then whisk me away and my besty friendies to Point Loma California where we would enjoy walking barefooted along the shore line at my own privet beach. When we decided that we had enough fun in the sun, a quick shopping spree and lunch in Beverly Hills would then follow.
Before returning home to Utah we would take a trip to the BEAUTIFUL San Diego temple and do baptisms.
Afterwards while sitting in the visitor’s center we would be staring and giggling at the attractive young men group that was there. The boys would then come up and ask us out on a date. I would recline on account of not being sixteen, but we would exchange numbers and he would say that he would take a rain check until then. My friends would feel bad for me and also postpone their dates until then. (In reality I would make my friends go on the date without me, but hey, this is my dream day so I have the right to not let them go...right?)
In order to cheer us up we would take my privet Jet back to Utah and stuff our faces in cookie dough ice cream. Taylor Swift would also be there personally singing to us about exactly how we felt. Chick flicks, girl talk, and yummy stuffed crust pizza, would complete the evening.
This would be my ideal day, but I am thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with such a wonderful everyday life already. I am so thankful for the little miracles that happen to me everyday and I wouldn't trade those for the world.
So there you have it folks. That was Mikaela Arnson's totally perfect day. Life doesn't get much better then that I tell ya. I wish you all a great evening and for those of you that are reading this because it is a homework assignment (Which is probably every viewer) I commend you for being able to get your homework done on-time. A task in which I was never able to master.
TTFN!!!! For those of you who did not just get that, you need to go watch a few more episodes of Winnie the Pooh.

Yikes! Maybe Having Stacey London pick out my wardrobe was a mistake... |

Ha! I did not know modest supermodels actually exist! i think it is interesting that you would want to do baptisms WHILE you're on vacation. You also might want a fast private jet to take you around if you're planning on sleeping in, just to let you know. But overall, I think this is a good blog.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Taylor not knowing about modest supermodels. I love your pictures of the temple and how you what the spirit to be with you when your on your ideal perfect day!
ReplyDeleteThat seriously sounds like an awesome day! I agree with the sleeping in. That is one of my favorite things to do, but it doesn't happen often enough.
ReplyDeleteMikaela I seriously enjoyed reading this! You kept it interesting, using pictures, and random little funny comments. If this weren't assigned I would still read your blog because it's fun, I can see your personality through your writings. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the detail. I think you should really make it happen some day. Why not? Keep up the great work.
